Bridging Yoga & Restorative Meditation
Tuesday, March 28 @ 9 – 3:30 pm

In this annual day-long workshop we will integrate yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation and study, blending detailed physical alignment with practices to help you calm the mind.

You will learn to settle your mind, find space in your breathing, and establish a restorative meditation practice.

Join Shôken Michael Stone for a one-day workshop of practice and discussion, to gain a better understanding of the aspects of, and connections between yoga postures and meditation practice. Shôken Michael Stone translates Buddhist and Yoga practices into tools that transform habits, cultivate more intimate relationships, and promote a deeper compassion for our world. He maintains a dedicated retreat and speaking schedule, internationally.

Morning Program
Michael will guide us through yoga postures, paying attention to breathing and alignment, so we can drop deeper into familiar postures and learn tips to make new poses come alive. The morning will end with guided meditation on the breath.

Afternoon Program
Learn the basics of meditation practice, how to work with distracting thoughts, and how to develop a daily practice that reduces stress and rumination. There will be time for meditation, discussion, and study.
Open the intelligence of your body through simple posture sequences. Learn to integrate the physical yoga practice with stillness and investigate your experience with more clarity and depth.

Please join us for a day of contemplation, learning, quiet, community and study. Fee $110 for the day.
